About company

Temirservice Astana Limited Liability Partnership was established on September 11, 2003 to develop the railway infrastructure in Astana and provide services for railway access roads. Over the years, the company has gained a position as a leader in the local market. Temirservice Astana operates and maintain more than 45 kilometers of railway access roads, including receiving and departure tracks, which are used to sort cars, located on the territory of the Industrial Park and in the industrial zone of Astana. The company’s access roads serve as a link between the “Sorokovaya” and “Astana” stations, servicing more than 100 enterprises of the capital.

Our services

Temirservice Astana LLP is a natural monopoly entity and is included in the local Astana State Register of Natural Monopolies by types of regulated services on provision of access road, provided there is no competitive access road:

for the passage of rolling stock

for shunting, loading and unloading and other technological operations of the transportation process, as well as for parking of rolling stock not provided for by technological operations of the transportation process

Currently, the track development of the company’s access road is a TEMIRSERVICE station with a semi-hump yard, station tracks and receiving and departure tracks for receiving, gathering and splitting the railway train and for connecting tracks that ensure the junction of the tracks of the railway owners of the city’s enterprises.

The start of the provision of services for dispatching the supply and removal of cars
2014–2017

Construction and commissioning of 8.54 km of railway tracks:

  • The North-Eastern section of the connecting track;
  • The North-Western section of the connecting track;
  • The southern section of the connecting track;

  • the receiving-departure yard.

Approval of the Instruction on the procedure for maintenance and organization of traffic on the access road "Temirservice Astana" in the Branch of JSC "KTZ – Freight transportation" – Akmola branch of freight transportation

The start of the provision of services "Traffic safety and compliance with the technological process"
2018
Obtaining an investment loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the construction of a freight railway station in Astana
2019
  • Launch of the private freight railway station "TEMIRSERVICE";
  • the "Dnepr" Microprocessor centralization of railway switches and signals (MPC) has been introduced at the station to control the movement of trains and organize shunting operations.
2020-2021
Implementation of a consulting project with international industry experts with the support of the EBRD's Small Business Consulting Program
2022
The launch of the digitalization initiative — a mobile application that automates the activities of the foot-plate staff and a shunting dispatcher, interaction with customers, and web applications that automate the work of managers with contracts and applications
2023
  • Participant of the EBRD's Blue Ribbon program;
  • Obtaining a second EBRD investment loan for the modernization and expansion of the TEMIRSERVICE freight railway station.
2024
  • Construction of additional tracks at the TEMIRSERVICE station;
  • The introduction of an automated rolling stock control system (Smart Gates) at the TEMIRSERVICE station.
